Marshmallow : February- March??

Wasn't Marshmallow for the Note 5 supposed to launch in December according to the first leaks?
An article on phandroid says (About a newly leaked Roadmap) that it can pushed from February to March as well.

Why so much delay? Samsung's Latest Premium Outdated Smartphones to get updated 5-6 months after the latest OS is released?

Idk if its just me but my phone is running perfectly fines so whats so important about this update besides the permissions toggling? Doze only works when the motion sensor sense the device hasn't moved in a while, fingerprint purchasing sounds good, app data saving is cool but the rest is just facelift. And every android user knows when the update comes out our phones are going to run a lil froggy so what is it that thats important about it? Im not trying to be an a hole im just really curious
