I tried looking for rumors or updates for a wear 6.0 update rumors. I have found none. I ask has anyone heard anything? Would like to know if my moto 360 first gen getting anything.

I believe the current version of Android Wear is 1.3 Android wear and Android OS are different.

No, your running Lollipop 5.1.1 on your Android Device, Android wear is 1.3
Go back and look again. It shows Android Wear, Google Play Services and Android OS.
Android wear is whats on the watch. Android OS is whats on your phone.

I'm pretty sure the watch itself is running Android OS 5.1.1. When my Moto X (2013) was running Kit Kat (Android OS 4.4.4) my Moto 360 reported Android OS 5.1.1 (and Android OS 5.0.2 prior to that).

Android Wear is the interface between the watch and the connected Android device and the UI running on top of Android OS on the watch.

I hope that's correct, otherwise my watch is lying to me. I have 6.0 on my Nexus 6. :-)

Getting back to the OP, I haven't read or heard anything about it, but that doesn't mean it won't happen.

How are your notifications working on 6.0? I finally got my Moto X playing nicely with my 360 and now I've switched to a N5X on 6.0 and the notifications are very sketchy again. Everything else works OK.

After the initial factory reset of my 360 to allow pairing with my 5X I had some initial oddities with notifications not arriving as expected, but a restart of the 360 and a reboot of my 5X and everything seems to be notifying as expected.

That's good to know. I've just signed up for Project Fi so maybe my notification issues are because of that. I did the factory reset on the 360 but I'm still not hooking up properly like I did with Lollipop on my OG Moto X.
