Marshmallow screen issues

Ever since I updated to Marshmallow, I've started to hate this phone. Not even twenty four hours after I got the update, I started having issues with the screen. The screen keeps freezing on me out of nowhere, and sometimes it takes more than ten seconds before it becomes responsive again. I factory reset the phone twice already, set it up brand new, and not even three days in, I'm having the same issues again. When I press the home button or power button after locking the screen, it seriously takes more than 5 seconds before the screen turns on. It turns on gradually instead of instantaneously. If anyone has a solution for this, please let me know. I really want to resolve this issue :'(

Well, it's either an app you've installed that doesn't play nicely with MM or its a MM bug. Start your phone in Safe Mode and see if it persists. If it doesn't, then its probably one of your apps... in which case you'll need to uninstall them one at a time until you find the culprit.
