So I got the update for my s6 a week ago, was looking forward to doze as my battery has been horrible recently, after receiving update i immediately reset my phone and set it up again, I haven't been impressed by marshmallow, the phone is a little smoother but my battery hasn't Improved, in fact it worse than before, I used to get over 4 hours SOT, now I get roughly 3 hours with the same usage, I have tried everything like turning off location, lowering brightness but battery is still terrible. I'm about ready to sell this phone and get something else, was really holding out for doze to improve the s6 but unfortunately it hasn't. Are any of you having the same problem?

Can you show us some battery stats? Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

Since my phone has upgraded to marshmallow my battery when in doze has improved by about 50% so I am well pleased with the update

My battery has improved also, all I did after the update was a cache clear in recovery after the Marshmallow update. I'm very pleased. I have the s6 edge. Husband has the regular s6 & just commented last night his battery is way better.

While mine last longer on doze, it will use up more juice when the screen is on. Did the usual thing, update and factory reset.
