Marshmellow broke an app

My beloved nexus 5 ota updated to 6 and my fav app `panasonic remote2` refuses to recognise my sparkly new tv. All was fine before update, Any clues?

Have you tried uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it through the Play Store?

yes, Tried a few times. Plus clearing the cache, rebooting. On all other androids (not 6) all is well. Strange thing is that the non official,(not Panasonic) app still sees the tv and works as it was.

Sounds weird since your Panasonic app probably only uses the build-in libraries, meaning: if the other apps work then the Panasonic should work too (unless the app is buggy and lousy programmed).

This is not the first time apps have failed to work with new os that was one reason for the preview so dev could update apps

Good luck with that one! Waiting for years on some firmware updates on my Panasonic TVs and Blu-ray players.
