Help.I got Marshmellow yesterday on my S6.
Its power hungry. How do I get the jingle back when turning phone on .Also power saving mode is complicated, What settings should I have (Immediately, 50%,20% etc).
Don't like it. Phone is slower.
Loipop is far better, this has destroyed what was a good phone.Very disappointed.
I must have jingle back when switching phone on.

I merged a couple of your threads, since they were about the same general issues.

First off, try wiping the system cache partition, since this can resolve various performance issues after a major system update. No personal data will be lost. https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-21095

If you are willing, best bet is doing a factory reset and setting up your device as a new device with such a major update.

Factory reset after a major update

Sure, if you don't mind losing data that doesn't back up, all your settings, etc. To say nothing of spending the next week getting it back the way you want it. Amazing how flippantly folks will suggest factory reset or reloading Windows on a PC - as if it is a non-event. Before doing a factory reset, exhaust all other options, make sure all of your data is saved somewhere, record what your settings are, and be sure you have the time needed and can be without a functioning phone for a while.

I have factory reset multiple times and agree with you, it's a damn pain. Android really needs to replicate what Apple has in terms of backup and restore.

Agreed A factory reset should only be considered after all other avenues have been explored
