I have recently bought the Mate 10 pro which is amazing no doubt.
But, in my older S8 plus I connected it to my car JVC bluetooth unit and it was not making any problem in the Mate 10 I'm having issues which is I don't see the song I hear and also I can't press back and fowerd and can't make any calls, basically just songs which I need to control on from my device, no logic here.
Anyone have any idea what can I do?
I tried hard reset to the JVC and I tried wipe bluetooth and everything nothing help's

No problems here on the 2 car stereos I connect to. Have you got Phone Audio as well as Media turned on in the Bluetooth settings for your device? Media is for music etc and Phone Audio lets you make calls etc.

Do you have an other Bluetooth device nearby that could be taking over the phone audio? Like a Bluetooth headset turned on or a smart watch?

Also remove the JVC stereo pairing from your phone and repair it to see if that helps.

No bluetooth device nearby
And I tried doing that and didn't help ):

Damn. That's strange

Last thing to try and I know it sounds too obvious but I've just been reading online about other people with the same issue and restarting the phone got it back working again and let them check that settings for phone audio.

After a restart it works but when ever I try again like few hours later it's happening again..

I'm also have quite a few Bluetooth connecting issues. If I connect to the car stereo and then have to stop and get out, when I get back in chances are it won't reconnect again. I have to either try turning Bluetooth off then on again, then sometimes it'll only connect 1 of the 3 options above. I also never see any song info displayed on stereo when it does connect.
I also sometimes have trouble connecting with my bt wireless headphones. not always just sometimes. Very frustrating as I have to sometimes restart the phone and I've not encountered these problems with previous phones.
Overall I am loving the phone but this Bluetooth issue is spoiling the experience somewhat!

I'm having Bluetooth issues as well. Bad quality, can't skip songs/display song info on my stereo. A restart can fix it temporarily, but then it reverts back. I contacted Huawei and they said I should send in the phone for repair. I asked what exactly they would repair, still waiting a response. This phone is amazing despite the Bluetooth problems.

Guys try to de authorise from your car and phone Bluetooth.. and switch on airplane mode and connect to your phone with Bluetooth..and switch off the airplane mode again.. it works for me.

Same here, so sad for a wonderful phone... I now have to resort using my trusty BlackBerry Passport for my Bluetooth needs during driving...

Is there no solution here?

Hi guys,
I contacted Huawei support in relation to the issues I'm having with connecting by Bluetooth to my Pioneer stereo (basically very inconsistent as to whether it connects or not).
Among the usual suggestions, clear cache partition, hard reset they did suggest to firstly reset the networks. Now this does mean you will have to re-enter passwords for WiFi connections you've got saved but this does seem to have helped my Bluetooth connection to my car stereo (touch wood!).
It's only been a couple of days so I'm hoping it won't stop working but I thought it was worth sharing for those also experiencing Bluetooth issues.
Here's where to find Network reset....

Settings>System>Reset>Network Settings Reset
