I know the Maxx can be used on ATT and TMo, but has anyone tried it? If so, what speeds were you getting on Tmo?

If the devices can be unlocked on T-Mobile I'm sure it can reach the max data speeds called out the spec sheet of the device provided the bands are the same. In theory, anyways.

It will always depend on your specific location, but on H+, I've been able to get up to ~14Mbps. It's rather inconsistent in my area and, on H+, it has ranged from .5Mbps to 14Mbps.

So you're actually using the Maxx on one of their networks? Which one AT&T or Tmo? Since I'm buying off contract eventually and will also be moving to a larger metro area I'm curious.

Sorry, didn't mention - I'm using it on T-Mobile Prepaid. The Maxx, I believe, supports standard Verizon Band 4 700MHz, as well as 1700 and 2100. I don't think my area is a re-farmed 1900MHz area, so I think I pull H+ because of the 1700 frequency.

I do have LTE ATT coverage here, but don't have a chance to test it out. ATT would probably be more reliable, and will get you fast speeds under good coverage, though.

I would probably just ask the people in the area what they're using and see their speeds.

Thanks, I'm buying off contract and may eventually want to try out Tmo to test coverage, it'll be nice not to have to buy a second phone to do it.
