May 9 2017, Samsung s8 plus promo

[AC Question]

I bought a s8+ in store on May 9th. Before I went in I saw online the deal that said for certain phones it was 15$ a month with trade in and other 20$. The promo was never applied and i called today, they acted like they had no clue what promo I was talking about. The only one they saw said it was only valid for ppl switching from another carrier. Which my phone for trade in was on list (turbo 2) and from what I understand it's a Verizon only phone, so if that was the promo why would a turbo 2 be on the list. I can't find the promo now anywhere. Did anyone else receive this promo? Or maybe I really did read it wrong?
