May Software Update

I wonder why unlocked takes so long... it used to be faster.

"If" I was a conspiracy theorist, I would say that carriers always want their locked firmware to appear better. So they purposely delay certifying the unlocked versions. So if fast updates are important to you...
:) :)

If unlocked May patch don't show up today most likely will be next week.

Just downloaded the May update on my unlocked S22 Ultra on the Spectrum Mobile network. Approximately 650 MB file size.

It's here for factory unlocked.

Just downloaded and installed AVDC with may 1 security update.unlocked ultra on t mobile

Some things to notice about S908U1UEU2AVDC:
  • The bootloader number has incremented, so you can't roll back to a previous version if you have problems with this one.
  • The U (rather than S) just before the bootloader number tells us that this isn't just a security update. However, the release notes lack the usual terse summary of what has changed (there's only the section that describes what can be included in software updates in general).
  • As always, you can see a list of the latest firmware versions for all carriers on Sammobile.com. If you have a carrier-unlocked phone and your carrier hasn't released it yet, you can download any carrier's version using Frija and install it manually using Odin.
