I've never used Kies. Can you see the phone at all in Kies?

Which file did you download and try to load?

I looked up the error that you are getting. The advice given was you get the phone into download mode and install the stock tar file with Odin. The people that were getting the message seemed to be able to do this and return their phones to a factory state.

After about 5 tries, I was able to get into download mode. I did Skunk's unroot and it finally re started.
Then I updated through Kies and finally rerooted so I could do a restore through Mybackuo pro.
It looks like everything will be okay. I'll wait for the next official update.

Yeah I know... I saw that before too. Nothing on it though. Maybe that will be the final product of MC3.

I was trying to flash the MC3 one click.
I've disconnected the phone and now I get a screen that says"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again"

The phone is rooted and it will not start in recovery mode. It keeps coming back to the above message and Kies will not connect since it is rooted.

A little late to your party, but if it is a true "One Click", you don't flash those, because, well it is a "One Click" it will be an ".exe" which is an executable. Its been a while, but you connect your phone to your computer, navigate to the "One Click" file and simply either single click or double click on the file to execute it. I believe it is a "One Click Odin"
