Someone wrote they felt it unlocked the phone faster and I do agree it seems more efficient. Let me know what you think.

It will not work on TMO firmware as there is no McLaren TMO edition, you need to flash international 9.0.9 (introduction of the McLaren firmware) or above to get it working.

It is actually proven that this animation improves the fingerprint unlock time and accuracy over the default ones that come with the regular OP6T. The reason why they went with green is because it's the color that emitted the most light during the testing of the in screen fingerprint sensor functionality. With that being said, the McLaren Edition animation emits more light and green coloration than the regular animations allowing the fingerprint sensor to be faster and more accurate.

Yes, of course! It's in the link OP provided. The best bet is to do it with the ADB method simply because with the first method, it's an additional app you have to have sitting on your phone and if you uninstall it, it gets rid of the method. The ADB method (method 2) is for non-root but you're tweaking the system a bit so there's no way it can be removed unless you switch to a stock fingerprint animation or factory reset your device.

No you need to move your software over to the international conversion and then it will be available for you to use. I did this and it works great

Ok yes and no, yes you still get OTA if you are in the beta testing software. No to OTA if you stay on the regular software updates. Either way it easy to download and update the OS through the OP site.
It worth it BTW phone is faster and smoother over all.
