Media hub for the fascinate?

so is there a working samsung media hub for the fascinate? i tried the MediaHubV102_Epic4G.apk file that was put out awhile back but it never worked for me.

yep, I've not bought anything yet..only because I'm cheap and would almost rather rip my own movies from my collection.

and gunner.. Media Hub is an app where you can buy or rent movies/tv shows for your android. Paid < free IMHO.. so I'll still stick to ripping unless someone informs me of how to rip Blu-ray.

I installed it and the app appears to run ok but I'm going to uninstall it for 2 reasons:

1. The Samsung Media Hub website states the app comes pre-loaded on your phone; of course, it didn't come preloaded on my FASN8. It gives no indication of any other way to get the app. The site also has a lot of comments from people about the app not working. And as noted in post #2 of this thread, a robot representing Samsung proclaims it is not available for the FASN8 and it has no clue when it will be.
2. Post#8 in the XDA link above refers to folks renting/buying stuff via the Media Hub and getting ripped off because the content doesn't play: PLEASE DON'T PURCHASE ANYTHING UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING YOUR MONEY.

Let the buyer beware!

One further note: Samsung's rollout of their Media Hub app is like a kid trying to sell lemonade at a homemade stand. It appears they have no clue as to what they're doing.
