Media sound and sound of calls not audible

The sound is not audible in till n unless the earphones are plugged in. During calls speakers needs to be o or earphones need to be plugged in. Sound of videos and audios not audible without earphones.

"speakers needs to be o or earphones need to be plugged in" I assume means "speakers need to be on". Where else would you expect to hear media? It has to be the speaker or the earphones.

If you can't hear phone calls in the little speaker at the top (the one you put to your ear), that's another problem - possibly something wrong with the earphone jack. (Sound goes through it before going on to the speaker or receiver, so plugging in an earphone cuts off the speaker or receiver.)
