Goodness... sounds like they know their phone is broken already :-\ Good to get confirmation of my experience, however. Still would be nice to log these bugs. I guess I'll just put my nag cannon on the one bug that is provided above until a better solution presents itself.
Lol yeah they get their fair share of bugs, problem like other manufacturers.

I got an update yesterday but it did not fix this problem. :(

The other issue I am running into is that Bluetooth takes forever to pair with my JayBird X3's. In fact, it doesn't pair at all. I have to go into Bluetooth and tap my JayBird registration. After many seconds my headphones declare connection but the interface is still searching. After a few MORE seconds, it actually, finally pairs.

Worth noting that my $15 headset that I use for talking pairs up right away w/ no problems. So it appears this is something about the X3's.

I think the issue is related to the JayBird X3 headphones. This article is almost 4 years old, so those appear to be really old headphones that aren't compatible with current phones.

Hi @Laura thank you for the reply. Where in that article do you see that X3's are not compatible with current phones? The article says that outside the waterproofing and eartips, the X4s are exactly the same as X3's so that would suggest if the X3's have problems with current phones then so would X4s.

Hi @Mr Bojangles pardon the delay here but I am just now seeing your suggestion. I did try resetting but that does not seem to address the issue.

In other news, based on @Laura's suggestion, I sprung for a cheap newer set of headphones and they do work. Unfortunately they don't allow the foam tips that JayBird uses, so I am going to try a renewed X4 to see if that works.

Finally, there appears to be a lot of Bluetooth issues with Droid12. Running into this one, too:

Welcome to the forums. I've seen a few similar reports in the OP community. In some cases the problem was fixed on its own. Just in case, forget that BT device, reboot the phone and pair it again.

In other cases the fix involved the Developer Options. Worth a try.

I know this is an older thread, but I just did this on my recently updated Galaxy S20 5G Android 13 phone & it worked

The post here has over 11k views 🤯 That must be the most successful thing I have ever done 😅 My $600 phone is actually working pretty decently now and I am happy with it. There is one last issue that I am encountering and if anyone tagged here can assist it would be appreciated:

I've gone through the entire thread,
I faced the same exact issue with my realme GT 2 pro, same choppy audio and random volume fluctuations special too much on hires codecs. Till morning things are fine by evening Miracle happened and my Bluetooth audio got screwed. I tried every possible way i found with 100% failure rate. I thought my buds where the issue i tried nothing buds 2 and oppo enco X2 same issue with both, i connected these buds to a different phone and boom they work fine like nothing happened, so my phone itself has the issue with device audio sync option, it's too frustrating. Then i connected my galaxy buds 2 pro somehow Samsung buds are not effected by this issue then reconnected my oppo enco X2 and nothing buds 2 they worked fine for few minutes and went back to the same issue.

After digging too many methods, here's the method that worked for me and probably if will work for many people out here.

The fix is : Go to system apps in settings, search for Bluetooth application, go to storage and clear cache.
The End. It's soo frustrating i spent 4 hours banging my head and finally it's fine now. I'll keep observing it for couple of days and see if the issue is coming back.

For people who updated their phones and still facing the issue, here's the thing: if This issue is caused by bad memory then no update will fix this issue, because system update will never interfere with application data.
Only way to fix the issue is U have to clear the cache data of Bluetooth application, it the issue still persists ur final option is to factory reset ur device.

Good luck for whoever is trying.
