[MEGATHREAD] Why do Instagram and other FB apps keep uninstalling

[Android Central Question]

So I keep installing Instagram. It stays one night then uninstalls itself.. Also when I install another app , 2 even... They just stay and function well.. Whereas as Instagram keeps disappearing.. My phone is tecno spark k7. Does anyone know what's wrong? I would greatly appreciate the assistance!;

Welcome to Android Central! This seems to be a common issue with certain Chinese brands like Gionee and Tecno. Are you installing FB Messenger from the Play Store, or from somewhere else?

I'm downloading from the playstore, it's happening to my gionee p12 too

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be sure -- the app is actually uninstalled, or is it just that the app shortcut on the homescreen disappeared? If you go to Settings>Apps​, do you see it there?

Why facebook app uninstalling after reboot my tecno

Hello,

I have a tecno camon 11.
After installing facebook or instagram, when I reboot my phone, those applications desapears.

I try to install it from play store and from apk. That is the same result.

Is there a solution for this please ?

Welcome to Android Central! This is a fairly common issue that's asked about Tecno and other phones like it. Not sure if it has to do with the phone manufacturer or the region -- are you in India, or perhaps China?

Are the apps disappearing from the homescreen only, or also the App Drawer?

It disappears totally from the phone, I don't know why.. Pls what's the solution

Welcome to Android Central! Do you also have a Gionee S12, or some other phone? Are you installing Facebook Messenger from the Play Store, or from somewhere else? Are you certain it's no longer in the App Drawer or the Settings>Apps​ list?

Why my facebook lite automatically uninstall from my phone

I am using tecno pop 4 pro and anytime I download facebook lite app to my phone and then reboot my phone or if my phone tripps off and when I charge it I find out that my facebook automatically uninstall from my phone
