as far as ive seen the dual core one x's have 16 gb... are there any with 32gb? or is the quadcore version only getting the extra memory?

All the dual core S4 snapdragon versions have 16gb internal memory, it was needed to support LTE.

I don't believe there are any with 32gb, unless you get the Tegra3 quad core version.

To be clear the choice of 16GB in the USA version had nothing to do with the need to use the S4 processor for its onboard LTE radio. It was a cheap decision by AT&T possibly motivated by the desire to force us to use the cloud aka more expensive data.

A 16GB flash memory module is the same size/format as a 32GB module.
