Memory the only thing holding me back.

So I'm an iPhone and an android user which is no secret of you've seen some of my post. I recently tried to exclusively use my Galaxy Nexus but went back to using both phones again. I can honestly say the only thing stopping me from completely leaving the Apple smartphone is memory. I have a 64 gig iPhone and before it was released I was just fine with 32gigs. Now however it seems indispensable for traveling and being out just to download music apps and videos without the worry of getting a notice of insufficient memory. Is there any news of a 64 gig model top like android device with a 4.3 inch or bigger screen?

Well the good thing about Android is that you can get expandable memory, 64 GB works on some devices, otherwise there's always 32 GB.

But they'll come up with something eventually, they always do. :D

There is no 64 GB model for the Galaxy Nexus though. I can use a 64GB SD in my Rezound (Plus 16GB internal). Alternatively someone could always switch to using cloud services like Google Music, Dropbox etc.. That way as long as there's data service you have access to everything but not wasting phone storage.

I guess you hope for the device to come with 16-32GB onboard and a MicroSD slot so you can easily add a 32GB card (only $22 on Amazon.com).

This is why the HTC One X pisses me off so much. An amazing phone that I'd love to have (pending Galaxy S3 unveiling)...but totally ruined by 16GB onboard and NO MicroSD slot. I'm honestly considering moving to Sprint for their version with MicroSD or perhaps importing an international version to use on AT&T.

As a long time BlackBerry user looking to get to the cutting edge again...I can't possibly imagine downgrading my storage space for the HTC One X...it's ludicrous. ~10GB available space? My current 2 year old BB has 4GB + a 32GB MicroSD installed...

Just to clarify, we're talking about storage here, not memory. Memory is RAM.

I can't say I completely disagree with you. I would like to have more built-in storage also, but at the same time the rest of the phone is just really good. Also, for me personally, I don't use over ~8gb. I don't use phone storage for music, so the only thing taking up space is pics, movies, and backups of various types.

I would say if you want storage, 16-32 GB is what I would want to be the norm nowadays. Otherwise there are alternatives like dropbox and Google music, but I'm used to having all my crap with me, not trusting all of my storage to a server (cloud is a buzz word). not saying that they are bad though, because they aren't.

Thank you for the correction and 64 has easily become my Go to number now.
