Hi,
I just got the phone from CL and it was activated with Cricket, I then do a recovery to stock using the Odin Restore files to get you to stock - xda-developers, everything looks fine except I am not getting any response from the menu, home, or search, only the back button seems to work. The phone is not activated yet, is this why? Also, when I try to activate the phone, it goes to Cricket, can I change it back to Verizon? TIA.

Never mind about the buttons, they all are working but I still need to change it back to VZ activation.

Same thing happened to me. I flashed from the same link as the OP, then did the upgrade (the one that fixed the GPS and made the capacitive button lights stay on longer). I took it back to Verizon and they send me a refurb. Wish I would have taker gunner's advice because my refurb has a tone of sidetone, and a loose volume rocker.

Run Setup Wizard

Finally, I can contribute! I didn't find this answer anywhere else, so I thought I'd share what I just figured out. This is what fixed the "menu, home, search" buttons not working problem (though back button worked) for me.

Run the Setup Wizard. It is in the Settings app. You can just skip everything if you want.

EDIT: I also do not register my phone, because I use it without phone or data service.
