Message alerts not coming through

Hi guys,

My messages seem to be on the right setting but, I don't get alerts anymore. This means I have to check my phone every 5 minutes.

The little number comes up next to the messages icon so that helps.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 and my volume is turned up for all alerts.

What can I do to get alerts again?

Have you given permission on notifications? Also from within the message app, it's your notification on? You have four different places to control message alerts...
When you open settings on message app, look to see what sound is ticked for message...

I cant get text message alert sounds....It vibrates but no sound . Gone thru everything trying to change
