Is there a way or an app to turn off Message+ notifications during a specific time span each day. Currently I disable notifications when I go to bed and then turn them back on in the am. It would be great to have it stopped automatically.

Sure, go to Settings.Notifications.Do Not Disturb.Schedule and set the Weekday and Weekend hours you do not want to be disturbed.

My VZW Message+ still alerts even in DND mode and no it doesn't have elevated privileges.

Go to Notifications, Do Not Disturb, Select Priorities, App Notifications, Scroll down to Message+ and turn it off.
