I have a question... for some reason when I select ONE of my daughter's in the contacts to message it adds a +1 to the number (the texts don't go w/the 1 prefix,) I can go into the phone # field and backspace, re-enter without the 1, but when she responds and I go to respond back, it adds the +1. I called Verizon and they had no answer, just gave me Samsung's #. So I installed Handcent... but it won't work with NoLED :-( any ideas ?! If NoLED worked w/Handcent I'd be good, but when I clicked the box for Handcent in NoLED it just locked my phone up so I had to restart when I get any NoLED notification.

I believe you have it set to add prefix's to your numbers for you. There is a place in the settings where you can remove that. Try that and see if it helps.

If your numbers are all saved as Google contacts, log in to Gmail and go to your contacts and remove all number formatting, then do a factory reset on your phone. Problem solved.

Ok... I'm pretty tech savvy with most things but I am not seeing this prefix setting anywhere :-(

It makes no sense to me that it wants to add a prefix to that phone number only, I have tried changing the phone number to another # on her contact, then send a message and it doesn't add the +1?

I've figured out how to get NoLED to work for me with Handcent tho, so I'll prob just stick with that.

Thanks so much for your response!!!
