Messaging App Crashes

I'm having an issue with the messaging app. It will crash and I get the message unfortunately messaging has stopped. This only happens when the message group has 2 or more pictures attached. I used mybackup pro to transfer the messages from my old marquee. Anyone else have this problem? I downloaded go sms pro and that display the messages/pictures just fine. Any idea how to fix it so I can use the stock app?

It may either be a bug in the app itself, or you can try clearing the cache in the app through Settings>Application Manager, and scroll down to the app and clear the cache. Or you can try clearing the phone's cache through recovery.

Did what you suggested, still crashed. Looks like it's a bug in the application wonder if it will ever get fixed

I would email or call Samsung to inform them of the problem. Did you reboot into recovery as well?

No don't know how to do that. I've download go sms from the app store. That reads the messages just fine. So really does look like something wrong with the app. I'll email samsung. Is there a dedicated email for s4 bugs?

I don't think so, but try to send it to the most appropriate department. You may want to email your carrier too, in case it is a problem with their ROM.
