Messaging App Troubles (deleting threads, freezing etc.)

Hey all,

Recently, I've been having troubles with my samsung messenger app. At first I noticed my keyboard was rather laggy (Swiftkey). I reboot-mode cleared the cache etc. Then I noticed that the keyboard was generally only laggy on messenger app. I thus tried to delete some large MMS threads on my phone, but they would not delete. Furthermore, upon attempting to delete, the entire messenger app froze and required me to restart my phone to get it to work again.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You could try clearing the cache for the Messaging app.
Then see if it'll allow you to delete those MMS threads.

Sorry is there a way to clear a cache specific to one app?

Yes there is - you find the app in Application manager (Settings -> More [if using the Tab view] -> Application manager) and select it - one of the options will be Clear cache.
