Messaging Apps on AT&T HTC One

my AT&T HTC One received text/media messages thru 3 messaging apps on the phone.....the AT&T pre-installed, the HTC One standard, and FB Messenger....only the AT&T messaging app allow me to forward a multi media text....I need help

1...anyone knows whether forwarding a multimedia message app can be use on FB messenger or the HTC One stock app?
2...if not .....how do I turn off FB messaging app but keep FB Messenger with FB friends ONLY, and also turn off the HTC One stock messaging app...since that is useless?
