Messaging lag

Has anyone experianced lag time on standard messaging between recieving the text and displaying it. takes a full min to get into the string and another to display the message. This happens only from 1 phone #. I get texts great from all other #s. Even 1 that is on the same family plan. It is well over 6000 texts from that # so it is my most texted contact.

Have you cleaned out your messages lately. That could be slowing down the process.

The message got lagged up bc i was sent a large pic file that got stuck in the server. Once it pushed thru, messaging went back to normal. All fixed. Tnx anyway.
