Messenger color

Does anyone know if there's a way to change the color of the text bubbles in the messenger app from Green to blue? I would rather be able to do this in the built in app instead of using a 3rd party app.I would love for them to match the Aegean Sea look in emui 5. Thanks!

I think you can, if you pick a theme that supports it.

Try making a custom theme with the EMUI theme editor in the Play Store and set the message bubble colour to green

I was with you or not wanting to use it third-party app until I tried Textra. I hope you're able to do it with the built-in messenger but if not give Textra try I absolutely love it.

I second this! I love Textra so much! Upgraded to the pro version a long time ago - it was the best one-time investment in an app ever! LOOL now I sound like an ad. But it's a very good application, and their tech support is great at troubleshooting and responding to messages promptly.

And yes, I change my messaging colours almost weekly at times.

And yes, I paid for the pro version too. Well worth it especially if you do Google Rewards. You'll probably have credit to buy apps regularly unless you use it for music, movies or TV.

BTW, if you don't mind the hit to battery turning on location history will get you more surveys. I don't use it cause honestly it took my already weak 4hr sot to like 2.5 hr sot on my note 5.
