I use Verizon messenger. The Samsung messenger is as always popping up. I can't get it to stop!

Have you gone into Application and made your messenger of choice the "Default" app.?

When you open the "Default Application" menu, under the Messaging app. sub menu, is the messenger that you want to use listed as a choice with the stock app.?

My only other thought is if you open Application manager, select messages and select "Set as default" from there it will allow you to clear defaults.
If that doesn't do it, I don't know where to go from there.
Be sure to do a backup if you clear the defaults, it may clear the messanger phone number, there by breaking the current browser.

I will hold off toll I get my 64 gig. I have everything set right weird
