Does anyone have a link for nice metal bands for the gear s2 classic

Amazon lists quite a few, although I haven't tried any of them yet, personally. Just go there and search "20mm watch bands".

I'll probably go that route myself, once my Classic" arrives.

My plan also

Yeah its just a standard 20mm band so you can get it from any watch.

Too bad it only comes in black and not silver which really limits you to just black metal bands which I would worry the black does not match that on the watch if I use a metal band.

I really like dual color, especially black and gold but I hate there is no hint of gold on the classic.

I'm considering this band but I'm having a hard time picturing how it would look on the watch. It can either look really good or completely mismatch and out of place.

Just got this one today, from Amazon:

Yes, it's kinda pricey, but I think a good watch deserves a good band. The black of the band is a bit darker than the watch, but I don't know where you're going to find a perfect color match, as the watch is actually a very dark grey.

The fit is nice and snug where the band fits on the watch, to the point that it took me a good thirty minutes to get it attached. You'll need a steady hand and a watch spring tool. If you've never done this sort of thing before, you might think about taking it to a jeweler. He or she, with the right tool and expertise, could probably put it on in a minute or two.

The other nice feature is that the links are added or removed for adjusting by way of little screws, rather than the usual pins. Very easy to fit it to your wrist.

The band feels very substantial and comfortable on my wrist. Fits me much better than the leather band that came with the watch. The arbitrary holes in the leather strap ended up being either too tight or too loose for me.

Looks really similar to one I got off of ebay.

Seen a similar one on Amazon.

I don't really like it.
It looks really good. But the individual lugs you take out are a bit large to get an exact fit. It's a bit too big or a bit too tight for my wrist. And it was really difficult to install. I take bands on and off my watches all the time, the connection with the watch is so snug it's a real struggle to get it on or off the watch. And because of the snug fit it doesn't lay on my wrist like it should, too much friction with the watch for it to move freely.

Perhaps yours is a better fit and it's just the one I got off of ebay that's odd.

It is the 20mm Ritche ceramic band from Amazon. I really like it because it matches the watch perfectly.

I hope somebody comes out with a nice looking metal band for the non-classic versions. I've done a little bit of searching, but didn't really see anything.

How closely does the grey band match the watch

it doesn't really match it at all. the color and texture is completely different. the band has a dull brushed metal look and sharp edges, while the watch exterior is shiny with smooth edges. the ceramic bands someone posted on here look to match the watch better.

but for the price (and i like this design better, both the links and the clasp), i really can't complain. :p

What I've been trying to find is some rubber or plastic bands and any of the ceramic type bands but with Easy removable pins, so I don't need the pin tool to switch bands, It has been impossible so far, looking on eBay, Amazon and doing Google searches in general (can't really think of the exact name for "easy removable pins").

I managed to get a band replacement for the Asus Zenwatch last year, and it had this "easy pin" thing, but I can't really find where I ordered that as I'm looking at my eBay and Amazon orders for the past year and nothing, so weird. But the thing is that if I find the specific band I bought at least I'll have some specific information to look for.

I don't want to be needing a tool to switch bands because I know that with time, I'll be scratching all the bezel around.
