Metamorph Locker Room (7/17)
This is the location to fulfill all your Metamorph needs and goodies. First I will start off with a little tutorial to help some of the new rooters or even those experienced but just never used the application. Metamorph is in the market and
IT DOES REQUIRE ROOT AND BUSYBOX.
If you don't know what Busybox is, chances are you don't have it. Here's a download link and instructions on how to install it BusyBox. Now lets get to it...
Step 1: Download the Metamorph file of your choosing. It should be a zip file.
Step 2: Create a folder on your computer that COMPLETELY MIRRORS the name of the zip file minus the ".zip" at the end
Step 3: Extract the contents of the zip file into your newly created folder. Ensure you extract all contents especially the .xml file because that is the main ingredient.
Step 4: Mount your Droid to the computer. Turn USB Debugging On.
Step 5: Create a folder on your SD Card exactly like this AndroidThemes. From here you want to copy the Metamorph theme folder we recently created and paste it into the AndroidThemes folder found on your SD Card.
Step 6: Unmount your Droid.
Step 7: Run Metamorph. The cool thing about this app is that it runs checks every time you open the app to make sure you have everything it needs in order to operate.
Step 8: As tempting and contradicting as it may seem,
DO NOT SELECT PICK THEME.
SELECT EXISTING THEME.
I'm putting this in Caps because I know someone will do it anyway. A message will pop up and read "Please select a .xml file from one of the existing theme directories". You're in the right spot. Here you will find all of the Metamorph theme folders you pace in the AndroidThemes folder.
Step 9: Select the folder/Theme
Step 10: Inside you will find all the folder's contents. You are looking for one file and one file only. The one that has .xml at the end. That is the theme file! That's the one I told you to ensure you extract and its what you need in order to apply the theme.
Step 11: Now it will list all of the Metamorph options associated with the folder. You can either choose to pick a certain file/theme or you can apply all.
This gives you infinite customization options to mix and match themes.
Some themes, after applying, require reboot and if it does Metamorph will prompt you.
And that's it! We have officially applied your Metamorph theme. Congrats!

Ex: If you like only like the widget theme from the Smoked Glass Metamorph Theme, only apply the widgets.apk file. If you want to apply the entire theme, select apply all.
