MHL cable problem

Hi all, I recently got an mhl cable for use with my htc sensation. I can not however get it to work. I have plugged in the charger to the box. Anybody have any ideas why this might be.

After you have it powered up and connected to your HDMI port on your TV, if you aren't getting any video try rebooting your phone with everything still connected.
