Anyone know if the Moto X will support MHL or any way to get the display onto an external monitor?

Just Miracast support ASFAIK

Only thing I can think of is that you can use the Moto X with Chromecast, at least for the apps supported by Chromecast, such as Netflix...etc. This works great for me.

GsmArena specs seem to be based on the internal hardware. The Moto X hardware may be able to support MHL, but it was not implemented.
The Atrix 4G had a microchip with FM radio, but the phone didn't have it available.

Get a Netgear PTV3000. It works great since the last update and are almost as cheap as some mhl cables because of the holiday sales and no wires. Love mine. Works with everything.

Can we confirm that the Netgear PTV3000 will for sure work with my MotoX? I am in dire need of something like this. Thanks for help

I have the Netgear PTV3000, and it works with my Moto X (and Nexus 7/2013, and Lenovo T440 laptop). Very slick to have wireless screen mirroring.

I have used a wireless miracast receiver/dongle set up from Cables To Go (C2G)

Works great, good distance and low latency. I have not tried just a cable.

Looking to mirror with Moto Z Play. Any recommendations on if MHL works w the chords or do I have to figure out this nether wifi stuff? I don't have wifi at my house but trying to use Netflix via display screen
