using the latest version on mimusic and for some reason some albums are in track order some are in alphabetical order is there any way to fix this so that all albums are in track order and not alphabetical
For the albums in alphabetical order, use a file manager to look at the actual filenames. Do they include a track number (e.g., "01 - Main Theme.mp3"), or not (e.g., "Main Theme.mp3")? If the music player app is ordering albums based on the filenames, you may have to rename those particular album tracks to include track numbers.
I installed Mi Music to one of my phones and tried playing the free album download of Nine Inch Nails's Slip album (which was offered free by the band a long time ago). The filenames for each track started with the track number, so it played in order. Unfortunately, I don't have any other mp3 albums I can test, because I listen to all my music through streaming services. I didn't see any options in the Mi Music app to change how tracks are ordered, so it's not clear if it's ordering them using ID3 tags or filename.
it must be the app then because i keep adding them again and some of the albums are in order
the ones that are not in order are
Derek and Clive - Ad Nauseam
All Over The World: The Very Best Of ELO
Best Of Bowie [Disc1]
Best Of Bowie [Disc2]
Derek and Clive - Come Again
Derek and Clive Live
The Killers Direct Hits (Deluxe Edition)
Bob Marley And The Wailers Legend (Deluxe Edition - Remaster)
Example Live Life Living (Deluxe)
Motown Anthems CD2
Motown Anthems CD3
Motown Anthems CD4
George Ezra Wanted On Voyage [Deluxe]
ones that are in order are
Calvin Harris 18 Months (Deluxe Edition)
Calvin Harris 18 Months
Michael Jackson Number Ones
Sam Smith In The Lonely Hour [Deluxe Edition]
Rudimental Home [Deluxe Edition]
Motown Anthems CD1
I use Musicolet for now until there fixed and in the right order
If you think the player is going by filename, then you can experiment by renaming the tracks for one of the problem albums and adding "01, 02, 03, etc." in front of each track name, then see if they get listed in the correct order.
If you think they're going by ID3 tag, then you can use a tag editor to compare the ID3 info for albums that are ordered correctly vs albums that are ordered alphabetically to see if there are any discrepancies.
some of the albums have the track saying the number for example 01 then the song name.mp3 some have the name of the artist then the track number it's so confusing
If the player is folder-based, then it'll have trouble keeping an album together. For folder-based media players, you have to make sure all tracks from the same album are contained in their own folder (with that album's name).
for example i have David Bowie Best Of Bowie with disc 1 and disc 2 with tracks in each folder but it will still play them alphabetical instead of track order

It does sound like they are being sorted by the ID3 tags. I'd try something like Media Monkey as @B. Diddy suggested. You can check each track & see if the track number is listed in the appropriate slot.
okay i will add the albums to my music folder on my sd card then get media monkey and check each track for every album and see if they are in the appropriate slot
