Micro - SD card security?

Wouldn't it be nice if we had some form of password protection for the actual card itself? We got the phone and apps and even the memory card while accesed on phone can be password protected...Yet that is not stopping someone from finding or stealing your phone and then BOOM pop the card in and they have all your whatever is on the SD card " Pictures, sensitve app information with your personal information etc"....This just dawned on me sorry if this is a wide topic just wanted to see if users had any options..I can hear it now..." Hey you GIVE ME YOUR MEMORY CARD!...( My Phone?) NO YOUR MEMORY CARD!"....(Hi im calling in an insurance claim someone stole my phones memory card etc..."
