I noticed another post looking for a class 10 micro sd card. I imagine it would transfer data into the chip faster to load your data, but will a slower card effect your video recording or anything else on the phone. I recently purchased a 32 gb micro sd from amazon, and after reading the post it got me wondering if I downgraded my memory speed from the factory chip. I would not want to reduce the quality of the phone from being able to write to the chip fast enough to support the high def video recording. Here is the chip I purchased. Anyone know what class came with the rezound stock?

You ordered a class 4 sdcard, I believe the Rezound comes w a class 2.

The rezound comes with a 16gb class 4 actually. I just put in a 32gb class 4 and removed the standard 16gb class 4.

thanks guys, I guess as long as it is as fast as the original it should perform alright.

Another option to alleviate this concern is that the camera app has a setting that allows writing pictures/video to internal phone memory, which should be faster than any SD card. The tradeoff is that there's less space to work with of course. I've only used internal memory for video, but as far as pictures, I did notice a difference in write speed between internal memory and the OOTB Class 4 SD card.

As a comparison, storing to internal memory + no review time settings enables the camera to take pictures in rapid succession on my Rezound nearly as fast as the Nexus I previously owned.

I decided that if I was gonna spend money on a new card I'd buy the best available and only buy it once. So I got a 32gb class 10
