I just got a note 8.0 the other day and I was wanting recommendations on good compatible micro SD cards. I checked on amazon and the highest and most rated SD card was the SanDisk 32/64 micro sdhc card. However, I noticed a majority of the low ratings were by Samsung note users saying that the card fails after a couple of months. For those of you using that particular SD card have you experienced these issues. Overall, what do you guys recommend?

I use Sandisk Ultra and Extreme SD cards in both my Note and S4 and haven't had any problems with either cards.

I buy whatever brand is on sale. As long as the card is a class 10 and the manufacturer I recognize I will get it.

This weekend for example Fry's had a 32gb microsd card from Patriot for 20 dollars. About two months ago, I bought a Samsung 32gb one for 24.00.

Here is the link to the Patriot at Fry's.

64gb sandisk extreme uhs class 10 is around $50 on Amazon. If you want to to keep plenty of pictures and movies and music this will be the best the note 8 can get.

My top picks are SanDisk, Kingston, Lexar. I like Patriot but rarely see it up here.

I have the 64GB SanDisk Ultra, $50 a few months ago.

Thanks all! Went ahead and bought the SanDisk ultra 32!

Wrong place to post but I didn't want to start another thread. I really wish AT&T's version of the Note 8.0 was 32gb instead of just 16. Definitely going to have to save up for 2 64gb cards, one for this thing and another for my G Pro.

I second the thumbs up on the ScanDisc card on sale today on Amazon. Have been using them on the S3, S4, and Note 8 with no issues.

I just picked up a 32GB one today. I have another one in another device that has been working great. Those amazon sales are great.

I got the SanDisk 64gb "extreme" one, and it's phenomenal....it is the fastest SD card out there

I went for the Ultra 64GB as well, and it's working a treat. I mostly use it for video and music. I was a bit concerned when it arrived as it was exFAT but it seems like that isn't a problem, despite the user manual for the Note 8 saying it could only read FAT.

it only really becomes a problem when using custome recovries like CWM or TWRP
