Has anyone who has gotten the phone been able to successfully use on of those adapters?
I'd like to be able to switch back and forth between the iphone and Nexus but havent had much luck in using those adapters in the past. I dont want to spend $750.00 if I cant switch between phones.

I'm coming from an iPhone 4S...just curious why you would want to switch back and forward? Why not just use the Nexus and sell your iPhone to help pay for it?

There are a few apps that I need for work that I'm comfortable with for ios and I'd like to have the best of both worlds

I can see that. I'm anxious to get the Nexus, just worried about that 16GB storage. I like the SGS2 SR and Nexus. I just don't know. Plus 750 is ALOT for a phone and SGS2 will get ICS in Q1 2012.

FYI, I was in the same boat as you when the the iPhone 4 came out and I did not want to stop using my original Galaxy S. I bought the cheapest AFC adapter on Amazon (I think it was about $1) and have been using it since June of 2010 without an issue.

I have since sold the iPhone, but the adapter is still holding strong in my SGS and Galaxy Nexus as we speak. Good luck to you!

I switch back and forth and use a SIM adapter with no issues. Works fine.

Can you buy a SIM adapter from an actual store? I called Fry's and Best Buy and they don't carry them. I need it by tomorrow and don't feel like paying $10 overnight shiping on a $1 item.

Too late to order and adapter now and have it buy tomorrow, so I hope AT&T gives me a new one for free tomorrow. :-/

You don't need an adapter, the galaxy nexus sim is located in a way that you could simply install your micro sim just by lining it up correctly.

Came from the 4s and ordered the adapter but it never came smh. Att switched the sim for free though

What I did was take a regular sim card and punch it out with a micro sim cutter the my micro sim fits firmly in the middle of the punched out regular sim. I've been using it on quite a few phones from the Galaxy s 2 to my galaxy nexus.

Agreed, a punched out sim works the best, sim cards fall out too easily out of the adapters.

For those who switch, do you have an Apple plan or an Andorid plan. Any issues with voicemail?

No issues with VM, I just call ATT and tell them to switch my data plan whenever I switch between my iPhone and Android. All it takes is a few clicks of the mouse for them!

I was under the impression with AT&T you can just switch the SIM between the iPhone 4 and the Galaxy Nexus without any data or VM issues. Is this incorrect?

(I'm a longtime iPhone user who just ordered a Samsung Galaxy Nexus because I want to give Android a whirl. I was hoping -- other than dealing with getting the iPhone micro SIM in the Samsung, the process would otherwise be seamless...)

This is excellent... as I'm planning on doing just that. MicroSIM adapter arriving today. Had the GN since Thurs, but just using Wifi for now. I want to be able to switch SIM from my iphone 4S to my GN whenever.
