microphone inactive since last update

[Android Central Question]

I updated my S8 on Wednesday night overnight. On Thursday morning I received a call and the caller could not hear me. I have to have my phone on speaker, or a bluetooth device (car or earpiece). I have had it reset at the local support centre, 40 mins drive away, and the problem still exsists! anyone else have this problem?

I think this maybe related to a case or position of the phone. Try going to Settings, Advanced features, Motions and gestures, easy mute and disable it
