Samsung says the Tab 3 8.0 supports up to a 64 GB card. It also says microSD or microSDHC. My understanding is that microSDHC only supports up to 32 GB? Is that correct? The 64GB micro cards I find are HDXC, not HDHC. Will a microSDXC work even though Samsung doesn't mention it.

I did read somewhere that the tab 3's do support XC up to 64GB, I think that it was on a review site. I haven't tried an XC card though so I cannot be sure.

I put a SanDisk 64GB Ultra micro SD in my daughter's Tab 3 7.0 and it worked fine.

I've just ordered a Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. According to the Sandisk website, Sandisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card is compatible with Tab 3 7.0 or 8.0
Go to the site and check it out for yourself.

The Sandisk Extreme UHS-1 (the best Micro SD you can currently get) is class 10 and I can verify that it works in the Note 8.0 and S4 extremely well. I imagine it works just fine in the Tabs as well.
