Microsoft Outlook App-How Can You Make It Default E MAIL for Noticactions & Questions

Kind of like what outlook offers for email program. Is there a way to use it as a default application? If not is there a way to shut down Samsungs email without deleting it?
I gather no visual notification indicators on icon as well>Also how or where is outlooks notification folder so I can add sounds? and copy some of Outlooks sounds.

I used Outlook in past but found Nine to be superior. However Nine only works with exchange email (not IMAP or pop).

Nevertheless you should have ability to control notifications and the sounds. You certainly can in nougat.

Don't disable the Samsung email app. Just don't add any accounts to it and it'll basically sit there dormant.
