Midi ringtones stopped working after 2.2.1 upgrade

I have a droid and got the update to 2.2.1, after this I lost the ability to play and ringtone I had that was a midi file. I was able to before this update on my droid. If anyone can help it would be trully appreciated. I have alot of midi files and would hate to loose them all. Thank you.

Yes they did. Not much you can do about it, AFAIK. You'll need to find a supported format.
