These 5/1 ship dates are weird! My ship date is 4/10, however Verizon assured me that it would be shipped out 4/9 and would be here 4/10.

I could be wrong, but if they have zero golds for online preorder shipping until late april, I doubt they will have them in stores on early april. If you really want gold and don't preorder, my worry would be that they aren't available in stores until mid may-early june

Yeah I hope so--no point to pre order if it doesn't arrive on or before launch date.

The ship dates are accurate, if it says 5/1, you aren't getting it sooner.

Like the 128GB's say 4/17, does this mean they don't even have the phone in the warehouse yet?

That's the only reason I can think of for a ship date of anything other than 4/10.

I'm thinking that Verizon is just sitting on product and making their customers wait forever as usual.
T-Mobile shipping already makes me wonder.

Order place at 2:53 AM for 128 GB Edge/Gold. Ship is 5/1. One more month!

Ordered 64GB sapphire black 3am mountain time. Friggin expensive ...over 400. After upgrade fee and taxes. Rebate card and recycle if old device will help offset when bill time comes, but still. Ship 4-10 so far...Order still pending.

Ordered 64GB sapphire black 3am mountain time. Friggin expensive ...over 400. After upgrade fee and taxes. Rebate card and recycle if old device will help offset when bill time comes, but still. Ship 4-10 so far...Order still pending.

Should think about buying it outright if you have a share plan..your going to pay another $600. Over two years

I ordered 2 S6 Edge - 64GB in White Pearl, had to order it over the phone and was told and promised that they are getting shipped out 4/9 and will arrive 4/10.

I ordered 2 S6 Edge - 64GB in White Pearl, had to order it over the phone and was told and promised that they are getting shipped out 4/9 and will arrive 4/10.

I wonder what the 14.99 shipping option does for pre orders?

I called in twice to Verizon to request a faster shipping time and both times I was told they are not offering a faster shipping time for the S6 pre orders, even for an additional cost.

I spoke to two reps as well and they said the same thing. I think if it has a 4/10 ship date we will receive either on the day or the day before.

Well I pre-ordered online and was given the option for priority overnight shipping for $14.99 and I selected it. Not sure what it means though?

This is correct. From what I'm remembering now those that selected faster shipping will receive the day before and all others on day of. Could be wrong here though

It means that they are already backordered. Don't expect to get it on 4/10 if it says 4/17.

When i placed my order for GS6 G4GB Black, I was given an option of overnight delivery for 12.99 or free 2 day shipping.
