Milk Music app from Samsung

I have been messing with the app myself for a few days now. I primarily listen to rap and metal. The rap artists I like I can find on Milk all day. The metal bands I like to listen to, not so much. I just started having an issue with it crashing also, even when it's in the background. I had to reinstall and apparently it doesn't sync with my Samsung account yet because I lost all my personalised stations I created.

Rap and metal? What a combo :)

I listen primarily to metal and it seems to do OK. Pantera, All That Remains, Devil Driver, Trivium....all those show and play. What bands you trying to listen too?

Fwiw, I had to sign in, exit app, and restart app to get it to sign in properly.

i tried to make a folk metal sub genre station, I didn't have much luck with that. I tried to find bands like eluveitie, korpiklanni, folkearth, and fintroll. I did not find any of these bands.

I'm a metal head....and I've never heard of them! lol.

But Folk metal? You mean like death metal played with harmonicas, banjos, and kazoos' with spoons and knee slapping in the background? :)

It (milk) is basically just slacker radio.

I use Milk Music now for my streaming purposes. It replaced Digitally Imported radio. I like the fact that when I stream via bluetooth to my Pioneer AVH-P8400 head unit all the music info is displayed on the head units screen. It also sounds better than XM radio which I have used for years. It sounds a lot less compressed than XM.

I just want to know why everyone thinks its better than no skip pandora

I don't. I used to use slacker but stopped. Google Music trumps all of them in my opinion.. I can play anything in Google's library on demand or start a "radio" for it. I can also start a radio from a playlist I've made so it will have an even better understanding on the music I like and what I want to hear :).

google music you gotta pay for tho..

Yeah.. You never said unpaid ones :). You can pay for slacker and Pandora as well.

If you're asking best free I'd go with slacker.. But paid Google Music takes the cake for me :).
