Well, this was the case I wanted when the phone was announced and it arrived today. I had the Apple leather case for my iPhone so I was hoping this would fit the bill. It does and in fact it's slightly better. This isn't the best protective case, but for the minimalistic style people, it's perfect.

Some will say they wish the buttons were covered, but the Apple cases took forever to break in and had semi decent tactile feedback.

The leather smells like real leather and is extremely soft. Render pics won't do it justice. Quality seems top notch so hoping it holds up and wears in nicely.

Not much else to say but my case searching is now over - check out the pics. Enjoy AC!

Well I moved back to the 6P. This phone was a little small for my taste. Anyone want to buy this and the official protective cover in black (only silver sold in stores) shoot me a message

Thanks

For anyone that has this case, does it cover the top microphone hole or is there a cutout? I can't find any pics of the top of the case.

Yes, there is a small lip. If you lay it face down you can see a little light underneath. It's only a small lip though... Maybe 1mm

great review --- exactly what I was looking for as well!
I loved the Apple real leather case for a 6+ I tested and apparently this will work great for the S7 Edge!

Could you possibly post a pic with the case on and the phone face up?

thanks again for posting.

By the way for anyone considering this case, my phone screen smashed with a small 15 cm drop using this case. The phone fell screen first and the case clearly offered no protection. I think there is always a risk of breakage in any case but the experience has put me this one. It's good to add some grip but don't rely on drop protection
