Mirror link. I'm going to kill you.

The fact that my car supports mirror link, and that it does not function correctly with my phone is driving me insane. I have moved past the feature not working, but what is driving me crazy is that there is apparently no way to disable MirrorLink?! Why is this even a thing.

Has anyone found any way to disable it so when I connect my phone to my car it doesn't automatically launch an unusable MirrorLink.

PS. I'm using a Galaxy S5 With Android 5.0 with a Honda Civic 2015.
