Mirror to fire stick

Hi, after 10 years of having an iPhone, I decided to go to android and bought a G7. There are a couple of things that it definitely doesn't do but I can deal with that (visual voicemail and one touch scroll to the top of the screen)

One thing that I have not yet found the answer to is mirroring to my fire stick? I can set up the fire stick but my phone does not detect it. I've tried some apps but they just show photos and audio. I really want to mirror but when I press cast, it says no nearby devices are found. Please help, I do love my G7 but I'm hoping it's not another thing I have to accept cannot be done.

WHat are you trying to mirror? Your videos? A website?

3 things. Visual voicemail works fine on an android OS. Ask your carrier as you probably need a dl from them for it.

Scroll to the top is also available on the Android OS through the settings menu. It will allow you to expand or minimize by gesture anywhere on the screen.

Mirroring to your firestick? How have you set up your Alexa app? The stick needs to be visible when you click on Devices.

Thank you for your replies. I have now bought a Miracast HDMI wireless Wi-Fi adapter. I want to be able to watch Netflix or Amazon prime on my bedroom TV but I'm definitely doing something wrong as my phone is not detecting it.

Oops, have found the answer: should have got a Chromecast! Miracast not supported

Thank everyone for your help. My suspicions were confirmed from Motorola today, Moto G7 only works with Chromecast. I'm sending back my Miracast and pick up a Chromecast today. I am confident mirroring will be working today
