Mirroring on G3?

I just upgraded to the g3 and was wondering if you can mirror videos to the tv and if so how do you do it?

Was by far my favorite feature on my s4 but can't seem to find it on the g3

Screen mirroring is awesome with a chrome cast. I've already used or multiple times, and it is fast, even with videos and games.

When I play a video theres a little phone icon with an arrow next to it in the top right to the left of settings. That could be the streaming button. Of course I cant test that because the only videos I currently have on there are the DRM protected demo reels.

No I don't go chromecast because it doesn't let me stream my own videos...I know they got a beta where you can mirror what's on your phone but it's very laggy

I use to be able to mirror my own movies to my Xbox and watch it on the tv and I can't no more, is that only a Samsung phone feature?

Nope. That's a Moto thing. I've been missing the Display port myself. I'm going to check into Chromecast, maybe...

There is no lag with the Chromecast. Works perfectly with my G2 and I see no reason when I get my G3 on Friday it won't work as well.

With the recently updated Chromecast firmware... streaming from G3 to my Panasonic plasma TV works great... I now get complete mirroring of my phone to the TV...
