Missed your notification, Did not hear the sound. Solutions? Idea's?

NoLED works kinda sorta.
It does bring the screen to life briefly.
I havent had a notice up long enough to see how long it works.

What would be cool is the ability to flash a blank color on the whole screen every say 15 seconds. And each notification could be customizable to a different color.

NoLED can be like that, Eollie. It has the option to use icons, which you can change the size of, instead of the advertised dots. The apps' respective icons blink for as long as you specify at intervals you input. But if you opt for dots then you can customize each app its own color.

I just haven't really been using NoLED, or anything like it, because I figured I always check my phone anyway.

You could use tasker to flash the screen when you have a missed call or text

NoLED actually has a lot of customization available if you get into the menus...short of an LED, I'm not sure what else you could ask for.
