Missing background image in built-in apps

[AC Question]

After I uninstalled the Elvie launcher I noticed that in some apps (Dialler, Contacts, Messaging, World Clock) there's like a missing image. In World Clock, it's the background image (that I think used to be plain black) and in the other three, I can just see the top part of that image in the top part of the screen.
I have a screenshot but apparently it's forbidden to post images or links in here.

Thanks in advance, this is really ugly.

I've noticed that on my Honor 5X, and I find it annoying as well. It's usually taken from whatever the wallpaper shows. What happens if you change your wallpaper?

I was using the Wallpapers app, changing to a new image everyday. I just changed it to a fixed wallpaper and the issue went away. Thanks for that! Too bad because the daily wallpaper thing was pretty cool.
