MIssing calls

All of the sudden I seem to be missing calls. Meaning, folks will say they try to call me but my phone does not ring. I have had cases where nothing rings but then voice mail puts up because they had to leave a message. We seemed to have a verizon issue a few weeks ago and since then. But, I also did the last update too. I also seem to at times being having to wait longer than normal before a phone call I am making connects.

Any thoughts. Of course I just stopped my land line and having my phone working is critical in our family now.

fine. I seem to get texts, and voice messages. Trying to get more data before I call verizon
